About Falmouth Cornwall.

Located at the mouth of the river Fal, Falmouth has the third largest deep water natural harbour in the world. The town itself is a busy lively place with a good range of businesses including restaurants, pubs, clubs and a variety of shops.

Despite being a popular tourist destination Falmouth manages to keep the feel of a functional Cornish seaside town.

Falmouth was created from two Hamlets which joined together in the sixteen hundreds, the name was chosen due to the location at the mouth of the river Fal.
Within walking distance of the town centre is castle drive, which has some fantastic views over the harbour and nice walks. Near castle drive is Pendennis Castle which was created in the time of Henry VIII over 450 years ago, it's well worth a visit and will not break the bank.

Falmouth is also the location of the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
